about

This is tribute to everyone who selflessly cares for others. You know who you are.

lyrics

Thousand feet on the street
Every minute another thousand
Every day, every way
Every week another hundred thousand
More and more, pass our door
We ignore, we pass on understanding
We don't know of the hold
Of all those who are the ones depending.

They are our mothers and our fathers
They are our strong sons, caring daughters

Giants walk among us silently
Unnoticed we don't know that
Giants live among us everyday
So often we don't know
How silently they go.

Faces blank, don't give way
They conceal just how much they are wanted
And each day, many ways
They live up to such heroic standards
We don't know of the hold
Of all those who are the ones dependent
Moving toward the back door
They ignore their need for independence.
